Meetings and Events / MBABYCC Christmas Party

Ho! Ho! Ho! It is that time of year when we gather together at the beautiful Grand Hall at the Mobile Botanical Gardens to celebrate the holidays with our chicken family. Please join us on Sunday 12-9 from 5:00-7:00pm for a delicious pot-luck dinner. This year the club will be providing smoked ham, fried turkey and seasonal beverages. If you have a special dish that you love to make for the holidays, we would love for you to share it with us. Please see the separate post on the main page for the menu list.

There will be no door prizes given away but we will be playing Dirty Santa again (children included)!!! We had so much fun Dirty Santa fun last year so be sure to bring a wrapped or bagged gift not to exceed 10.00 in value if you would like to join in the mischief. Participation in Dirty Santa is optional but the more the merrier or should I say the dirtier? lol

An added bonus to this year’s party is that the Mobile Botanical Gardens will have their Christmas shop set up on one end of the Grand Hall with someone there to answer your questions and handle the sale of their unique items should our members see something they can ‘t live without. A party with built in shopping…how can it get better than that?

Those wishing to consume adult beverages may BYOB, however please remember that we are a family club so all things in moderation.

Please feel free to dress as the season dictates… if you have an ugly Christmas sweater you are just dying to wear then by all means, we would love to see it!

We hope you will join us for all of the chicken family holiday fun on December 9th.

I need to re-home 2 of my roosters. 1- 3 month old EE and 1- 5 month old red Cochin. They are unvaccinated & very healthy. Both are very mild in temperament. I ended up with more roosters than I wanted. I'm in the Wilmer area. Please feel free to email me for more info & pictures.
